Promicin Info Forum user blankslate can hear anyone's thoughts.
Well I did it. I took the promicin. I thought I was going to die. As you may or may not know when I was waiting for the 48 hour mark I had extreme head aches. Our parents thought it was something we ate when Cindy came over so they quarantined us to each other’s company. I didn’t complain and neither did Cindy.
When the next morning came around my headaches were worse. My mother suggested taking me to the doctor which I immediately declined. But as the 48 hour mark got closer and closer I felt better.
I was laying in my bed trying to ignore the pain that I had. I reading a book then I heard Cindy’s voice. Though it was slightly different even though Cindy was in the cot next to me I heard her voice echo "I wonder when lunch is." I looked to the clock and said "Probably soon." She looked to me funny and said "What?" I looked back and said "Lunch. Its probably in about an hour." Cindy raised an eyebrow but went back to her book.
That same day Cindy suffered from a seizure and her parents took her to the doctor. When the doctor said she was fine she was moved back to my house. Cindy said the guy thought it was from the high fever. We both laughed ironicly at that one.
We both woke up the next day feeling wonderful. Definitely better then we had the last two days and though our parents were hesitant they allowed us to go to our old middle school’s picnic. So we get there and about an hour later we’re having a ball laughing with old friends. Just as I’m about to throw a ring to try and get it on a bottle I hear someone’s voice. It was like Cindy’s had been. It was in an echo but it wasn’t Cindy’s voice and as I looked around she was the only one talking. I kept looking around trying to find the voice. Cindy must have noticed my frantic behavior and put her hand on mine. I snapped out of it quickly and she asked me "Are you okay?" I nodded and we finished the game to move on to the next booth. We played a few more games for a while with no interruptions.
Then came the rude awakening.
At our picnic there’s always been a dance on the football field for the older kids. So we headed over there. Cindy and I danced for a while and then it happened. Another echoing voice. But I ignored it. Hoping it would go away. It didn’t, it wasn’t like this voice was talking to me or telling me to do something. In fact it was completely irrelevant to what I had been thinking about a moment before. But as that voice continued to think about football I heard another. This one thinking about requesting a song. The voices multiplied and multiplied till I couldn’t understand anything they said. I grabbed at my temples and Cindy looked to me worriedly grabbing my hands "What’s wrong?" she asked quickly I winced and said "To many voices!" Cindy looked around wondering if anyone was watching then bolted to behind the concession stand.
The voices were quieter and some had stopped completely. I sighed rubbing my temples hard. Cindy looked to me as I leaned against the wall. "You okay?" she asked. I nodded. "Think it was an ability?" she asked. I looked to her and then said "Think of a number." Cindy raised an eyebrow "What?" I sighed "Just do it." She shrugged and I added quickly "But keep repeating it." Cindy nodded and closed my eyes. The quieter voices disappeared as I concentrated on Cindy. I heard an echoing voice again but this time it was Cindy. "34, 34, 34, 34, 34," I opened my eyes and said "34." Cindy’s eyes widened. ‘You can hear my thoughts?’ the echoing voice of Cindy asked. I shook my head saying "Not just your's everyone's." her mouth fell open.
I don’t know what will develop but I can tell you getting through that crowd was one major headache. I now carry Tylenol everywhere. I just hope this power can be used for the greater good.
